We are proud to announce that Firefighters Mike Hardy and Megan Hutchins have obtained their 150 hour certification and we commemorated this achievement with a badge pinning ceremony. Each Firefighter selected a family member to pin their badge on, previous to this they were officially sworn in. Just a reminder that the National Fire Protection Administration (NFPA) has updated the Standard for Professional Qualifications NFPA 1001. This standard gives the minimum qualifications for FF 1 and FF 2. With this standard being released, the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) requires us to update our test banks and skill sheets.
